Shrew’d move

Prince Arthor and Kathryn DelChiaro star as the classic battling duo destined for love in Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew,” the orginal sexual-tension romantic comedy.

Directed by Kate Kennedy at the Buena Vista Winery, the Avalon Players production includes young Sonoma natives Kyrie Dawson, Aaron Bremner, as well as Delaney Brummé, Brian Noyes, Jim Kent, Andy Bryson, Ben Marcus-Willers, Charles Boles, Alana Jacqueline and Alex Radovic.

Performances, outdoors in the winery courtyard, are Thursday through Sunday, through 24. Picnicking is welcome (no outside wine), with the courtyard and tasting room opening at 6 pm. Shows start at 7 p.m. $25.
