‘Golden Ticket’ to VIP access

Rouse_ScarboroughCOLOR_r1Sonoma Mayor Tom Rouse was the first to purchase of a book of six Golden Raffle Tickets from Cynthia Scarborough, Vintage House Executive Director. The fundraising drive wil benefit the Local Independent Mobility Options (LIMO) program, among others. LIMO helps non-driving Sonoma Valley seniors maintain their independence with free local rides provided by volunteer drivers using their personal cars.

The top prize is VIP access to several special events: two Grand Reserve tickets to Taste of Sonoma at McMurray Estate Vineyards; two Cinema Soiree Passes to the 2015 Sonoma International Film Festival; and two special passes to the 2014 Indy Car Series Race at Sonoma Raceway. All tickets go to one winner.

The total value of the raffle prizes is over $5,000. Individual raffle ticked are priced at $20 each, or 6 for $100, and can be purchased at Vintage House’s front desk or at Bank of Marin, Exchange Bank, Pharmaca, Rabobank, Readers’ Books, Red Grape, and Westamerica Bank.

Vintage House volunteers will be selling raffle tickets during Fourth of July festivities on the Plaza, and at the Tuesday Night Farmers’ Market in front of City Hall. The drawing will be held on Friday, August 15 on the Kathleen Hill KSVY morning show.

“The generosity of our prize donors is exceptional, “said Cynthia Scarborough, Vintage House executive director. “We are indebted to them for their unselfish willingness to help Vintage House in making the Golden Ticket Raffle so attractive.”

Five additional winners of the raffle will each receive tow tickets to: Sebastiani Theatre’s Vintage Movie Series; Sonoma Theatre Alliance 2015 Series at Andrews Hall; Broadway Under the Stars “The Music of the Night;” Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers 2015 “Vinolivo” tasting and weekend; and Vintage ‘s own annual gala, “A Vintage Evening.”

Vintage House senior center is dedicated to providing Sonoma Valley residents 55 and older with activities and services that enhance dignity, promote well-being and independence, and encourage participation in community life.
