The Democratic candidates for the Assembly District 10 seat, which represents the southern portion of Sonoma Valley and the city of Sonoma, will appear here in a forum on Monday, May 12.
Incumbent Marc Levine will take part, along with candidates Erin Carlstrom, a member of the Santa Rosa City Council, and Diana Conti, a College of Marin Trustee. Veronica Jacobi dropped out of the race last week.
At its pre-primary caucus in February, the California State Democratic Party failed to endorse Levine. The rare move not to support an incumbent means there will be no official Democratic Party endorsement in the June 3 primary.
The 6:30 p.m. event, hosted by the Sonoma Valley Democrats, is free and open to the public. Each candidate will deliver brief opening and closing statements, and take questions from the audience. The event will be held at the Seven Flags Club House, 300 International Blvd, in the Seven Flags Mobile Home Park.
