“ViaVita,” an assemblage by Kate Dumont, is one of 70 works made from repurposed materials in the Arts Guild of Sonoma’s 2014 REPO Show. The exhibition, March 7 through 29, features original artworks composed of at least 70 percent recycled, re-claimed or re-used materials.
The show exhibits artwork by professional artists, including Guild members and their artist guests, community members and community leaders. All entries are donated by the artists for a silent auction, which benefits the Guild and its many community outreach programs. Each piece in the exhibit is available to the public for silent auction bids throughout the show, which opens with a reception on Friday, March 7.
The event features food, wine and live music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $10, payable at the door the night of the event. The gallery is located at 140 E. Napa St. Hours are Thursday through Monday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and there is no admission charge. Find out more at Artsguildreposhow.org.
