[1]Sonoma Valley Museum of Art presents the hands-on worshop “Imagined Spaces: Architectural Remix Workshop,” an experiment in concept and material, on Saturday, March 1.

[2]San Francisco artist and designer Nicole Markoff will lead participants in taking the remnants of plans and remixing them into a whole new architectural design using source imagery from vintage architecture books, blueprints, and elevation drafts. The 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. session will be a loose, fun, and creative workshop day inspired by the museum’s current exhibition, “Site and Senses: The Architecture of Aidlin Darling Design.”

Workshop fee, which includes all supplies and admission to the exhibition, is $50 for museum members, $60 general public. Register at Svma.org [3].

The museum is located at 551 Broadway, Sonoma. Regular museum hours are Wednesdays through Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 general, free for students in grades K-12. Admission is free for all visitors every Wednesday. 939.7862.
