‘Rent’ due Thursday

The school edition of “Rent,” with young actors in all roles of the Tony-winning rock musical, comes to Andrews Hall February 20-23. Jonathan Larson won a Pulitzer Prize for the show, which opened on Broadway in 1996. Based on the Puccini opera “La bohème,” the story follows a group of struggling New York artists.

The show is presented by eTc! Experiential Theatre Company under the artistic direction of Cat Austin, MA, with stage direction by Robert Dornaus. It culminates a 16-week Teens in Training workshop. Because of the mature subject matter, it not recommended for ages under 14. $14-$22. Sonoma Community Center, 276 E. Napa St. 938.4626. Svbo.org.
