Hospice By The Bay will offer two groups to provide emotional and practical support to those coping with the recent loss of a loved one.
An eight-week support group for adults who have lost a spouse, partner or significant other helps participants cope with feelings of grief. Sessions will be held Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. starting February 11, at 190 W. Napa St.
Reservations for either group are required. The fee for one group series is waived for family members of patients who received Hospice By The Bay’s care, though donations are gratefully accepted. The fee for each group is $175, with a sliding fee scale for those that qualify.
The nonprofit Hospice by the Bay is the oldest hospice in California, providing provide compassionate end-of-life care for patients, support for their families and grief counseling to anyone coping with loss.
