Planting the seed

On January 18, Jack London State Historic Park will honor the trees that are such an integral part of its beauty and history with a special nature hike celebrating “The New Year of the Trees.” Naturalist John Lynch will lead a slow ecological ramble through the Park concluding with a ceremonial symbolic planting of a seedling from the heritage tree known as “Jack’s Oak.”
