The Sonoma Community Center kicks off its 2014 Winter Concert Series on Saturday, January 11 with Scottish folk-rocker Al Stewart, the man behind the mid-70’s Yacht Rock mega-hits “Year of the Cat” and “Time Passages.”

Stewart paid his early dues in London coffee houses with the likes of Cat Stevens and Van Morrison before recording with producer Alan Parsons, and working with Jimmy Page, Rick Wakeman and, later, Tori Amos along the way. 7:30 p.m. $20-$50.
