Gals ready to serve ‘Stew’

The Defying Gravity Gals return to Andrews Hall on November 5 and 6 with “The Stew,” a musical evening featuring spoofs on popular talk shows.

The show stars Laura Farber, Jaime Love, Monica McKey, Jeane MacPherson, Kerry Daly and Lori Bailey.

The all-new production plays at 7 p.m. at the Sonoma Community Center, 276 E. Napa St. Part of the Sonoma Theatre Alliance’s “Sonoma Nights” series, the original revue serves up “a bit of musical reflection with a dash of this and that from the best of your favorite talk shows,” said Love.

Drummer Jim Castrone, bassist Mark Petrella, and guitarist Andy Weinberger will join Farber on the keyboard to provide musical accompaniment, and local performer Bob Smith will act as the master of ceremonies. Tickets are $20 at 938-4626 x1 or
