Springs town hall meeting

Supervisor Susan Gorin will participate in a community conversation at the monthly Springs Town Hall meeting on Thursday, October 10 at 7 p.m. at the Sonoma Valley Grange Hall on Highway 12 in the Springs.

The public meeting, hosted by the Springs Community Alliance, will consist mainly of several breakout sessions, each of which will focus on issues that were identified at the April Town Hall meeting and designed to better connect the Springs residents to their community.

The topics have been organized into six categories: Safety; Business; Community Identity; Beautification; Youth and Families; and Health and Wellness. The sessions will be facilitated by members of the SCA leadership team. Specific examples of concerns that will be addressed include trees and parking along Hwy 12, gang activity, community gardens, drug abuse, and a historical walk.

The Grange is located at 18627 Sonoma Hwy. across from Mary’s Pizza.

One Response to Springs town hall meeting

  1. Ralph Hutchinson says:

When will somebody ask Gorin which developers she met with in secrecy to discuss developing the SDC? And what conflicts she has with the Graton Indians given her affiliation with Susan Moore President of Federated Indians of the Graton Rancheria since she did fundraising for Gorin?
