What wine goes best with a nice hot shower? Red, of course, when the Alfred Hitchcock classic “Psycho” plays the Summer Film Festival at St. Francis Winery on Thursday, July 25. The free outdoor screening starts at dusk, with a pre-curtain concert by Tumbao. (The Norman Bates Band was booked).
Sommelier and noted wine personality Christopher Sawyer will introduce the film and suggest parings of St Francis’ wines. Featured wines will be offered by the glass, and food and sweets will be available for purchase. Bring a picnic and blanket for the lawn. No outside alcohol allowed. The festival runs five consecutive Thursdays, starting June 18 with “Dirty Dancing.”
