Sonoma Valley Hospital hosts a ‘Spring Into Health!’ event for women on Saturday, May 4 at Ramekins. From 9 a.m. to noon, the fair provides information on: maternity, breast health, pelvic health, total joint replacement, weight loss surgery, diabetes education, emergency and travel medicine, and senior services.
Dr. Diwata Bose, the hospitals’ new Women’s Health Medical Director will be one of many experts on hand, along with CEO Kelly Mather, who will sign copies of her book “The 5 Keys to Wellness” and another she co-authored, “Create Your Health.”
Two cooking demos, focused on fast and healthy meals, will also be offered, along with instant access “Ask a Doc” sessions, and an exercise in guided relaxation in which participants learn how to block out background noise and reduce stress. Health screenings for osteoperosis screening, BMI and body fat analysis will also be offered.
