The newly redesigned Andrews Hall will resonate with the sound of music when the Valley of the Moon Chamber Ensemble performs its annual spring concert on Sunday, May 5 at 3 p.m. The program is a celebration of American composers, ranging from the classical works of Aaron Copeland, Eric Whitacre and Samuel Barber to contemporary jazz, traditional folk tunes and prairie hymnody.
“We’re excited about sharing our music with the community,” said Dr. Brian Sebastian, the ensemble’s conductor. “We’ve worked really hard, and we love what we do.” Tickets are $20 general admission, $30 reserved, and benefit the Sonoma Community Center. 276 E. Napa St. 938.4626. Svbo.org.
