Screening tonight, March 21, the documentary “Surviving Progress,” a documentary inspired by the best-selling “A Short History Of Progress” by Ronald Wright, is a sobering look at the paradox of human achievement. Or, what happens when 21st Century ideas are processed by ancient hardware, as in the never-upgraded human brain which is 50,000 years older than your first Commodore?
The film, produced by Martin Scorsese, will be shown on Thursday, March 21, 7 p.m. at the Sonoma Valley Grange, located at 18627 Hwy 12 in Boyes Hot Springs. Admission is free; donations encouraged. Presented by Transition Sonoma Valley in partnership with the Sonoma Ecology Center and the Sonoma Valley Grange.
