Healing Words: Poetry and Medicine (2008) is a 60-minute documentary about individuals who recover psychologically and physically from illnesses that changed their lives. The film validates expressive art in medical settings .We provide a simple meal to share before the movie that consists of hearty soup and whole grain bread, along with popcorn, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

We gather at 6:00 for the meal; the movie usually begins around 6:45 to 7:00.
