A benefit for a Haitian orphanage that cares for 30 children, many of whom lost their parents in the devastating earthquake three years ago, will be held on Tuesday, February 26, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lagunitas Brewery [1]in Petaluma.

La Maison des Petites de Diquini orphanage provides a safe haven where children receive food, shelter, education and love from directors Marie-Carmel Franck and Philippe Salomon. The orphanage is located on the century old Salomon family homestead, and director Philippe Salomon will be present at the fundraiser.

Proceeds from this year’s event will help buy ovens to prepare the 90 daily meals served at the orphanage. The event includes a Creole-style dinner, and music by the Steve Rubardt Trio and DJ Robert Roots. Admission is $25 in advance at Svbo.org [2]or $30 at the door, 1280 North McDowell Boulevard, Petaluma. For more information call 293.7341.
