Hospice By The Bay is looking for volunteers to forward its mission of providing the highest quality of end-of-life care to patients and their families regardless of their ability to pay. Training sessions will be offered on February 27, March 1 and March 6 in Sonoma from 9:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Direct Care Volunteers support terminally ill patients and their families in Sonoma County, while Patient Care Volunteers provide companionship and practical and emotional support. Complementary care volunteers offer energy work, bodywork, music at the bedside or animal social visits, and must be certified in their fields.
