The St. Gabriel’s Celestial Brass Band, a musical hurricane that nearly blew down the tent at last year’s bash, returns Saturday, Feb. 18 for Meadowcroft Wines’ second annual Mardi Gras Celebration.
The band will lead the host Krewe’s new King and Queen (Ronda and Mike Giangreco, pictured) on a Second Line parade throughout the shops and the gardens of CornerStone Sonoma. The authentic Cajun menu features Cochon du Lait (whole smoked pig), red beans & rice with Louisiana Cajun sausage, salad, French bread, as well as King Cakes brought in from New Orleans (a Mardi Gras must), and Louisiana bread pudding.
Tickets are $55 per person and include wine, food, music, parade participation and all around bon temps. Order at 934-4090 or Meadowcroftwines.com. Meadowcroft is located within CornerStone at 23574 Arnold Drive/Hwy 121.
