Noche En Copacabana, a sold-out fundraiser for La Luz Center, turned the Sonoma Barracks into a festive nightclub, complete with a live Cuban band, Brazilian dancers and Latin cuisine and cocktails. The tropical setting – flowers, bright dresses and fruit hats included — induced a red-hot live auction, which raised $85,000.  “We’re absolutely thrilled,” said Executive Director Yvonne Hall. “We’ll be able to offer all  of our programs at least thru the end of  2011.”
