Despite dropping their final three contests of the regular season, the Sonoma Lady Dragons still qualified for the North Coast Section Division III softball playoffs.

The Lady Dragons (# 9 seed) were slated to take on Moreau Catholic ((# 8) yesterday, with results unavailable at press time. The winner is set to face # 1 seed Alhambra (18-6) Saturday.
The Lady Dragons lost their last three SCL games, falling 10-1 to Analy, 8-0 to Casa Grande and then 13-2 to Windsor in the regular season finale.

Against Casa Grande the Lady Dragons were held to only one base hit, freshman Lindsey Rocha’s single. Gaucho hurler Ashley Ludlow stuck out 16 Lady Dragons en route to the shutout win.

In their loss to Analy the Lady Dragons surrendered six runs to the Tigers in the opening inning and were never able to recover. Rocha, Megan McNeilly and Samantha Richards were the only Lady Dragons to get hits in the loss to the Tigers.
