Bon temps for Mardi Gras

The inaugural Mardi Gras Celebration at Meadowcroft Wines at Cornerstone Sonoma was a hot event, from the sizzling St. Gabriel’s Celestial Brass Band to the fiery barbecue sauce laced with “Slap Ya Mama” Cajun spices. Beverly and Red Aucoin, the imported “dancing Cajuns” from Eunice, Louisiana, had the honor of crowning the Krewe Of Meadowcroft king and queen: Councilmember Ken Brown and food writer Michele Anna Jordan, both resplendent in French Quarter finery.
