Relay for Life

The Sonoma High School track was a veritable circle of life Saturday as team members walked the oval in a 24-hour effort to celebrate, remember and fight back against cancer. More than 600 people of all ages participated in the event to raise $154,000, with donations still coming in. “Thank you Sonoma,” read a jubilant Facebook entry from event organizers. “And special congrats to our top fundraising team, the Sonoma firefighters, who brought in more than $23,000. William Harper was our top participant, raising more than $20,500. You are all our cancer fighting heroes!”
