Sonoma Community Center has announced that its traditional annual fundaiser, Ox Roast, will not occur this year. The traditional event on Sonoma Plaza, always scheduled the first Sunday of June, will be on hiatus this year as event planners confer about a potential new format when it returns next year.

According to SCC Executive Director Toni Castrone, the unavailability of key event planners is the reason for the cancellation. “We are so lucky to have so many wonderful volunteers bring this…
